This Privacy Policy explains how HerGains ("we," "us," "our") collects, uses, and shares information when you use the App.
1. Not a Medical App
HerGains is an educational and informational wellness app. It is not intended to diagnose, treat, cure, or prevent any disease. Any health-related or nutrition-related content in the App, including the in-app "Ask a Nutritionist" chat, is provided for general educational purposes only and is not a substitute for professional medical care.
2. Information We Collect
- Account information, such as your name, email, and authentication details, handled by our sign-in provider.
- Profile and health-related information you choose to share, such as weight, height, goals, cycle tracking dates, dietary preferences, and food logs.
- Usage data, including how you interact with the App, device information, and crash or diagnostic data.
- Communications, including messages sent through in-app features such as the nutritionist chat, and any support requests you send us.
3. How We Use Your Information
- Provide, operate, and personalize the App's features.
- Communicate with you, including reminders and support.
- Improve, troubleshoot, and develop new features.
- Conduct research, and train and improve our models and products, including AI and machine learning systems, using your data in aggregated or de-identified form where practicable.

By using the App, you understand and agree that the information you provide may be used, including in aggregated or de-identified form, for internal research purposes and to train and improve our algorithms, features, and future products.

We do not sell your personal information. We may share information with service providers who help us operate the App (such as hosting, authentication, analytics, and session-booking providers), with legal or regulatory authorities where required by law, or with a successor entity in the event of a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets.

The App is not directed to children under 16, and we do not knowingly collect information from children under that age.
